Jacqueline Harding

I’m a final-year PhD student in Symbolic Systems within Stanford’s Philosophy department, advised by Thomas Icard. Before Stanford, I completed a BA and MPhil in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Logic and Computation at the University of Amsterdam.

I’m primarily a philosopher of AI, with secondary projects in the philosophy of science. My work is distinguished by its close technical engagement with the empirical AI literature and its focus on frontier AI systems. Here is my CV, and here is my Google Scholar Page.

Outside of work, I like playing (un-American) football, reading fiction and cooking for friends.
